1 AM directed by the Marquess of Lansdowne to acknowledge the receipt of letter of the 11th (10th) instant, urging that the Chinese Government should be reminded of their obligations under Article II of the Anglo-Chinese Commercial Treaty of 1902 to provide for a uniform national coinage.
